We heard today, 14.9.24, from Openreach, via our County Councillor Karen Payne and MP Alicia Kearns’ office, concerning the continuing problem with some phone landlines in Ketton.
The damage caused to the network by criminal activity has been repaired and all the faults reported cleared, but there can sometimes be residual faults eg small disconnections in another part of the network or crossed lines.
Openreach have advised that if your phone line is still ‘dead’ that you contact your service provider. Your provider will carry out their own diagnostic checks and will ask Openreach for engineering support if they believe there is a problem with the Openreach network.
Compensation should be arranged by your provider as the company you pay your bills to and have a contract for service with.
