WHITEBREAD TRUST
The Whitebread Trust is a village trust that provides grants to indeviduals and clubs in the village.
The Trust makes grants to residents taking a secondary education course, vocational course, training or taking part in extra-curricular trips from school and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme.
We will support any local club or organisation that needs additional funds to improve their facilities or equipment.

Ketton Library is run by Rutland County Council. As well as the opportunity to borrow books, audiobooks, jigsaw puzzles and DVDs for free, Ketton Library also provides free WiFi and free computer use, as well as access to scanning, photocopying and printing facilities. Rutland Libraries’ membership also provides access to e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and e-newspapers. Ketton Library hosts its own book club and runs free weekly Family History research sessions. The library is free to join – with no overdues. Ketton Library is open 9am – 1pm and 1.30pm to 5pm Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 9am – 1pm on Saturdays. HALL CLOSE PLAYGROUND
Off Redmiles Lane
Well-equipped public playground situated in Hall Close which can be accessed from Redmiles Lane, Bull Lane and from Aldgate via the bridge over the River Chater. The main playground has swings, climbing frame, slides, rotary swing, seesaw and trip wire, while there is a fenced toddlers area with swings, play houses and a train. There is a tarmacked basketball court at the Sinc Stream end of the field.

A story telling area located in the wood in Hall Close. It consists of wooden benches located in the wood. It can be accessed from Redmiles Lane or Sinc Stream.

A community apple orchard located by the River Chater in Hall Close. Hall Close is a parcel of land formerly owned by Ketton Manor, which stood on the site of the current Ketton Hall. It can be accessed from Redmiles Lane or Sinc Stream.
